The Sitch is a naturally formed, 26-acre estate lake surrounded by mature woodland, with 20 purpose-built swims — some tucked into the trees, others on platforms set among the reeds.
The fishery was stocked with 450 young monument-strain carp, and they've grown quickly: the water now holds more than 120 fish over 30lb and a growing number over 40lb, with the lake record standing at 51lb 12oz. Anglers tracking specific fish here can look out for Ellie, Ferrari Mirror, Harry's Mirror and Chubby Common, among others.
