Stables Carp Fishery is a small, established specimen carp pond roughly three acres in size, sitting about 20 minutes west of Hull.
Despite its modest footprint, it holds a good head of quality fish — around 20 carp past the 20lb mark — with the lake record standing at 29lb 2oz. Carpdex tracks 'Banana' among the named carp here.
Access is membership and session-based rather than open day tickets.
