Kingfisher Lake sits within the Waterside Fishery complex, sharing the same site as its neighbouring Heron Lake. At 6 acres, it's booked on an exclusive basis — the whole lake to yourself rather than shared swims.
The stock is substantial: around 110 carp populate the lake, topping out at 68lb, with roughly 25 fish already past the 30lb mark. Carpdex tracks named residents including Chestnut Mirror, The Waterside Common and Lambys Lin.
On-site comforts back up the fishing — a private cabin with shower, toilet and fridge/freezer space, plus a social area with gas barbecues, making it suited to longer exclusive sessions rather than a quick day visit.
