Named fish

Horton Church Lake is one of its fishery's best-known waters, with a long history that has drawn well-known anglers to test themselves against its carp over the years.

The lake holds more than 100 carp, including 16 fish over 40lb and at least 31 beyond 35lb. It's also home to a number of grass carp, among them an individual that once held the British record for the species (since non-classified) at over 52lb.
