Costessey No.2 Syndicate Lake (Ski Pit)

Costessey No.2 — known locally as the Ski Pit — is a mature gravel pit tucked into surrounding woodland, holding a stock of roughly 80 mirror and common carp. Underwater features and heavy weed growth make it a genuinely tactical water rather than an easy stocked fishery.

Access is by syndicate, and its popularity means there's typically a waiting list to join. Named residents tracked on Carpdex include Moonscale, Lumpy, Box Common, Sandy and The Twin, among others.
