Church Pool takes its name from its position at the north end of the Patshull Park Estate, close to St Mary's Church, and is well known within carp fishing circles despite its relatively modest 10 acres.
Tree-lined and secluded, the pool holds a strong stock of common and mirror carp running past 30lb, with 'The Grey Lady' among the named fish Carpdex tracks here.
Access is controlled on an annual syndicate basis rather than day tickets, keeping pressure on the venue relatively low.
