Attila is one of the carp lakes at Abbey Lakes in France, and its average stock weight has been climbing steadily as the fishery has grown in popularity — most fish now sit in the 30-40lb bracket, with stocking density kept deliberately high across the complex's lakes.
Four different carp from Attila have already broken the 60lb barrier, and with fish still packing on weight the lake is expected to produce 70lb-plus carp in the years ahead, following the pattern set by Abbey Lakes' other main waters.
